Cold water with meals - Good or Bad?

Temperature controls the entire universe. In fact, life exists on Earth just because this particular temperature suits growth of life. On human bodies, temperature has significant effect. Few scientists already mentioned that bathing with hot water reduces fat to some extent. This article discusses about various activities that takes place when hot or cold water enters human body.

“Is drinking cold water after or during meals is good or bad?” is our starting point. As per the reports of the scientists, human stomach will have a stabilized temperature system. As per their theory, what ever might be the temperature of liquid we take in, it gets neutralized to the stable temperature after few seconds. But, the effect of temperature of the liquid will be present to some extent, may be few seconds. This makes the change.

Drinking cold water on empty stomach will create vibrations all over the body for few seconds. This raises the metabolism rate at once in the body. On the other hand, hot water too has similar benefits.

If we clearly observe Japanese style of eating food, they include hot soup or hot water in their meals. Scientific facts behind this tradition is that the food we take gets perfectly digested when we have hot water in small quantities in between.

Hence, there is nothing wrong drinking cold water with meals but it is always preferable to drink hot water with meals. This gives more benefit compared to cold water in this scenario. With empty stomach, scientists says that it is better to have cold water to raise the metabolism rate.
